The Story
A Book to Be Filled, Not Saved
The most beautiful sketchbooks, we believe, are the ones that have been used. The corners worn, the spine soft, the pocket bulging slightly with the bits one couldn't bring oneself to throw away.
A sketchbook is the only place a draftsman is allowed to be honest.
We built this book around that idea. The cover is firm enough to lean on. The paper takes a pencil with that quiet, dragging satisfaction. The binding is sewn — never glued — so it will lay flat against your knee in the métro or on a stone bench in the Tuileries.
