Paper That Remembers Where It Came From
There is a quiet conversation between the brush and the paper. A good sheet listens. It accepts the pigment, holds the water, and gives back something the artist did not quite know was there.
For our Artist Grade pad, we sought the same conversation that defined Parisian ateliers a century and a half ago — when paper was made by hand, in small mills along the rivers of France, and chosen with the seriousness of a violin.
The sheet is not a stage. It is a partner.
Our cold-press surface is not aggressive but unmistakable — a refined tooth that catches the brush without snagging it, that lets light bounce back through translucent washes, that lifts cleanly when you want to take something back.
